Idea: in an ideal transformer the same changing flux links every turn of both coils, so each turn has the same emf.
Hence (Vₛ)/(Vₚ) = (Nₛ)/(Nₚ).
With Nₛ > Nₚ this ratio is greater than 1, so Vₛ > Vₚ: a step-up transformer.
