Idea: a full-wave rectifier inverts the negative half of every input cycle instead of discarding it, so two humps leave the circuit for each complete cycle that enters.
Hence fₒᵤₜ = 2 fᵢₙ.
fᵢₙ = (fₒᵤₜ)/2 = (100)/2
fᵢₙ = 50 Hz, the mains frequency, which is what such a rectifier is normally run from.
For a half-wave rectifier only one hump per cycle survives, and then fₒᵤₜ = fᵢₙ.
