Idea: count the pulses. A full-wave rectifier conducts on both halves of the input cycle, turning the negative half upwards instead of throwing it away.
So each input cycle delivers two pulses to the load, and the output pattern repeats twice as often as the input: fₒᵤₜ=2fᵢₙ.
Here fᵢₙ=60 Hz, so fₒᵤₜ=2×60.
So the rectified output ripples at 120 Hz, which is also the frequency the smoothing filter has to deal with.
