Idea: Faraday found that whenever the magnetic flux through a closed circuit changes, a current flows in it.
That current is called the induced current, and the emf that drives it the induced emf.
The phenomenon itself — producing an emf and current by a changing magnetic field — is called electromagnetic induction.
