Idea: a venturi-meter narrows a pipe and reads the pressure at the wide and narrow sections.
Continuity makes the fluid speed up in the throat, A₁v₁=A₂v₂.
Bernoulli then converts that gain in speed into a fall in pressure, P₁-P₂=1/2ρ(v₂²-v₁²).
Measuring the pressure difference therefore measures the flow rate.
So the instrument works on Bernoulli's principle.
