| (D) Impulse | (IV) kg m² s⁻² |
Asked in JEE Main 30th Jan 2nd Shift 2023 · Matching quantities to their dimensions
A: torque is force times distance, kg m² s⁻², so (IV).
B: energy density is energy per unit volume, kg m⁻¹ s⁻², so (I).
C: a pressure gradient is pressure per unit length, kg m⁻² s⁻², so (III).
D: impulse equals momentum, kg m s⁻¹, so (II).
Hence A-IV, B-I, C-III, D-II. Note that torque and energy density differ, though both come from an energy.
