Given: A=27 for ²⁷₁₃Al.
Idea: R=R₀A^1/3, where R₀=1.2 fm is the same for every nucleus.
A^1/3=27^1/3=3.
R=3R₀, that is about 3×1.2=3.6 fm.
The cube root is what keeps nuclei so similar in size: 27 times the nucleons buy only 3 times the radius.
