Idea: television is broadcast in the VHF and UHF parts of the radio band, so its frequencies are tens to hundreds of megahertz.
The channels start at about 54 MHz, the lowest VHF channel, and run up to about 890 MHz at the top of the UHF band.
Check with λ = c/ u: 54 MHz gives 5.6 m and 890 MHz gives 0.34 m.
Metres down to tens of centimetres is exactly the size of a rooftop television aerial, as it must be.
So TV waves range from 54 MHz to 890 MHz.
